Comment attirer de jeunes talents informatiques au sein d'une organisation internationale ?
Description
With increasing and generalizing recruitment difficulties, it is more important than ever for companies to distinguish in order to attract and then retain the best talents, especially in the Information Tech-nology domain. International Organizations, despite limited interest in the literature, are subject to the same challenge and would gain from improving their employer brand to be able to compete with the private sector and increase their attractiveness. Young talents are strategic resources and it is therefore crucial to understand their expectations through their generational characteristics. Neverthe-less, literature reveals contradictions on generations and their supposed characteristics. Results from a qualitative survey targeting IT students and recent graduates reinforce the debate and emphasize these discrepancies. The HR answer is consequently complex and requires a certain agility in order to respond to the expectations of some without denigrating others. It is about highlighting the benefits of ensuring a work life balance, bringing pleasure and meaning to work, and respecting values, attrib-utes that are important to collaborators of all generations.
