Description
This document describes a pilot project at CERN to procure public commercial cloud services and the results achieved. Taking into account the experience gained, the paper proposes a model to provide a flexible, centrally managed procurement process for cloud services from multiple vendors, supplementing the IT resources supporting the scientific programme of the Organization and aligned with the IT strategy.
