Description
This project developed an automated pipeline for monitoring PID controller performance in CERN’s Cooling and Ventilation systems. The system extracts data from NXCALS, process it, computes performance metrics, and stores them in a database for visualization in Grafana dashboards. By systematically tracking deviations and out-of-threshold behavior, the framework enables early detection of controllers behaving unexpectedly, improving reliability and scalability of PID monitoring across CERN’s infrastructure.
