Vertex reconstruction in ALICE

Description
Vertex reconstruction aims to identify the point where the particles collisions happen, the interaction vertex. The vertex reconstruction algorithm in ALICE uses data from the three innermost layer of the ITS (Inner Tracking System). The efficiency and precision of this algorithm depend on several parameters, that need to be tuned for each collision type. The goal of my work was to study the behavior of the algorithm when varying these parameters.
