Description
This document describes a scope-based analysis tool for the TTC system. The software, ttcscope, was designed to sample the encoded TTC signal from a TTCex module with the aid of a LeCroy WaveRunner oscilloscope. From the sampled signal, the bunch crossing clock is recovered, along with the signal contents: level-1 accepts, TTC commands, and trigger types. Two use-cases are addressed: analysis of TTC signals and calibration of TTC crates. The latter includes calibration schemes for two signal phase shifts, one related to level-1 accepts, and the other to TTC commands.
