Description

During my time in the CERN Summer Student Program, I embarked on a significant project with the aim of enhancing the functionality, information sharing, and visual appeal of the CMS Safety Website. This endeavor encompassed a thorough exploration and refinement of various aspects to bolster the platform's effectiveness. The project's core objectives focused on improving visibility, optimizing user flow, enhancing accessibility, redefining navigation, and boosting overall usability. Guided by a structured and strategic approach, I combined systematic methods, advanced digital tools, and collaborated dynamically with stakeholders. This concerted effort resulted in a substantial improvement in both user experience and the accuracy of information delivery. Notably, these accomplishments are reflected in the enhanced interface and smoother user interactions, aligning seamlessly with the site's safety-oriented mission. This report provides a comprehensive analysis of the project's multifaceted goals. It delves into the deployed methodologies, strategies, achieved milestones, and insightful observations. Additionally, it addresses the intricacies of challenges encountered along the way, highlighting the dynamic nature of executing projects within an esteemed institution like CERN. This compilation of efforts not only outlines achievements but also serves as a roadmap for future endeavors, illuminating pathways for ongoing enhancements.
