Description
The ASACUSA experiment plans a high precision spectroscopy of the ground state hyperfine splitting of antihydrogen. With the beginning of LS2 the ASACUSA experiment was temporarily shut down. Within the summer student internship the positron system as well as the CUSP trap were consecutively recommissioned and parameters were optimized accordingly towards performing temperature measurements and cooling of the positron plasma in the CUSP trap.
