Study on Nuclear Modification Factors $R_{AA}$ with ALICE's Run 3 Software $O^2$

ALICE developed a new software for Run 3 which is called $O^2$. In this summer student project the new software is used to reproduce the nuclear modification factor ($𝑅_{AA}$) from a previous analysis. Even though the framework is still in development it returned very convincing results. Compared to the previous results a 10% discrepancy was found which is based on a problem in the software which is well understood.
