Optimization of charm tagging algorithms and feasibility study of VH(cc) channel

This report is a summary of the work I have done as a summer student at CERN. I have worked on two different projects, thus, the report is divided into two parts, each describing one of the projects. The first part describes a study aimed at optimizing charm tagging algorithms. The second part is a summary of a feasibility study of the VH(cc) channel. The two projects are tied together as results from the first project are used in the second project.
