Description

In search for hypothetical long-lived particles (LLPs) beyond the Standard Model (BSM) at the LHCb experiment, algorithms suchs as $\texttt{Downstream}$ have been performed. This paper explores some of these LLPs and goes over a new Python program, $\texttt{EventCalculator}$, that can be used to make estimates on the number of LLPs produced. This data can be used for further analysis to get the number of events expected at the LHCb experiment in Run 3.
