Description
A Graphical User Interface tool has been developed at the CERN EN-EA-LE section, called AppLE.py (Application for Liaison with Experiments), which is written in python and uses MADX in the backend. AppLE.py is designed for beamline simulation of beam parameters as well as particle tracking, with an addition of an improved matching algorithm. In this project, new functionalities are added to AppLE.py such as 3 types of beam monitors and 3 types of kickers. Also, the energy loss of particles due to synchrotron radiation was manually calculated.
