Identifying Levels of Uncertainty in Longitudinal Tomography in the PS Booster

Authors/Creators

Description

This main objective of this project was to identify the uncertainties in software which are used to do the measurements of a bunch in PS Booster and other CERN accelerators. It is very important to identify these uncertainties and the impact from changes in different parameters to the measured values. This will make it possible to understand the behaviour of the bunch in a more detailed manner and to make an estimate for deviations of the beam from the expected results.
