Analysis of heavy-flavor particles in ALICE with Run 3 software

Description
Heavy-flavor particle is an excellent probe for the study of QGP. Measurement of heavy-flavor particles will be an essential part of the ALICE experiment in Run 3. The O2project is the ALICE data analysis model for the upcoming Run 3. In this internship, I have reproduced a heavy-flavor Run 2 selection criteria analysis within the new Run 3 O2framework and used ML techniques to optimize the selection criteria. The report also compares significance and signal efficiency values between different Ml methods and the Run 2 reproduced selection criteria. The working of Run3 analysis framework O2 is also briefly discussed.
