Description
The project aims to set up fits to calibrate data in 2024 data taking for the LHCb experiment by evaluating the efficiencies of Particle Identification (PID) requirements for electrons and muons using reconstructed $B^+ → K^+ J/ψ(ℓ^−ℓ^+)$ decays. By computing the efficiencies in bins of the track kinematics, one can correct simulated samples as a function of the variables used to parameterize the efficiency.
