Exploring Detection Asymmetries in the FORMOSA Demonstrator
Description
This report describes the project I was involved in during my internship at CERN, working on the FORMOSA experiment. I contributed to developing Uproot code that uses datasets from the FORMOSA demonstrator to compare different regions and create heatmaps of the channels to understand how radiation and background rates are distributed. In this report, we also briefly explain the underlying theory and the main concepts behind the detectors from which the data was obtained.
