La recherche du boson de Higgs dans l'expérience ALEPH au LEP
Description
The Iliggs boson is an important missing part in the standard model of particle physics. It could be produced at the LEP collidervia the process ete- -+ Zo + HoZ*. A search for a signal in the Zo + Houü,, Zo + Hoete- and Zo + Ho p+ tt- channels can be performed using either sets of cuts or neural networks. The two methods give similar results. No signal of the Higgs boson is seen in the data, and the mass domain 0.07 < rnno 3 a8.8 GeV/c2 is excluded at 95% confidence level.
