Beam based measurements of relative RF phase

A beam-based relative phase alignment technique is proposed for multi RF systems. Algorithms for the measurements of the synchronous phase and bunch length based on the beam profile's instantaneous phase are developed. Synchronous phase behavior in multi RF systems is classified in the general case; and the exact solution in the special case of the harmonic number n = 1, 2 is presented.
