Description
This report represents a study of the tt̅W process using the RIVET toolkit. Two Monte Carlo event generator samples, SHERPA and MadGraph5_aMC@NLO with the FxFx merging scheme, were analyzed. Two distinct final state selections were investigated: the production of two same-sign leptons and the production of three leptons. RIVET routines were developed to implement these selections and produce momentum distribution plots. A key focus was the validation of the jet-merging fix in the MadGraph sample. The analysis confirms the jet-merging fix's effectiveness, with RIVET 4 routines demonstrating a reduction in jet multiplicity, thereby improving the modeling accuracy of the tt̅W process.
