Description
CMS intends to measure with high precision the coupling of the recently discovered Higgs boson to fermions. This measurement plays an important role to ensure whether fermion masses are generated by the Higgs mechanism. In the context of H->tautau analysis, we investigate the performance of the identification of muons from tau decays. The analysis is based on a pair of taus from which one tau decays into a muon and the other tau decays into hadrons. We present results obtained in the study of, firstly muon identification, and secondly muon isolation.
