Simulations of an electron lens for Future Circular Colliders: noise impact and modifications of Landau damping due to different electron beam profiles

Description

Simulations of an electron lens in proton colliders and effects on the beam dynamics are reported. The impact of several electron beam distributions on the tune spread for Landau damping will be presented together with the beam parameter changes due a displacement of the electron lens with respect to the proton beam orbit.
