Particle Track Estimation

In this report, we formulate the problem of reconstructing charged particles using hits from a detector, and we assess the performance of the Hough Transform algorithm, which was implemented from scratch. A comparison is made with the results from both the ideal and realistic datasets and Machine Learning based methods are discussed in order to enhance our predictions, thus setting a strong baseline for the solution of this problem.
