Silica coated magnetite nanoparticles\nfor removal of heavy metal ions from\npolluted waters
Description
Magnetic removal of Hg2+ and other heavy metal ions like Cd2+, Pb2+\netc. using silica coated magnetite particles from polluted waters is a\ncurrent topic of active research to provide efficient water recycling and\nlong term high quality water. The technique used to study the bonding\ncharacteristics of such kind of nanoparticles with the heavy metal ions\nis a very sensitive hyperfine specroscopy technique called the perturbed\nangular correlation technique (PAC).
