Description
I was selected (among 10,000 + applications) to participate in the CERN Summmer Student program in Geneva. During my twelve week internship at CERN, I worked with the LHCb ECAL Upgrade II team. My project was focused on time resolution studies on several modules of the new electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL) for the LHCb experiment. The project started with two weeks on test beam at SPS facilities from CERN, where different prototypes where studied. Once the results from test beam were available, I was in charge of time resolution analysis. I studied different prototypes and obtained interesting results that will be presented during this report.
