Safety and communication, a winning combination

Description

Since 2013, in line with its mission to support CERN’s proactive communication policy in matters of safety, the HSE unit has been following an annual plan for disseminating information on occupational health and safety and environmental protection.

 

Safety information designed to underline the importance of prevention is published through a variety of channels:

  • Announcements in the CERN Bulletin,
  • Safety bulletins, notably outlining lessons to be learned in the wake of accidents/incidents occuring at CERN,
  • Safety alerts calling for immediate action, sent by e-mail to the services concerned,
  • Prevention campaigns on the CERN site,
  • Poster campaigns in well frequented public areas.

Please heed all prevention messages and apply them in your everyday life. Also, we will be pleased to receive any information or suggestions you may have on safety matters.

Depuis 2013, conformément à son mandat qui lui enjoint de soutenir la communication proactive du CERN en matière de sécurité, l’unité HSE diffuse des informations liées à la santé et la sécurité au travail ainsi qu’à la protection de l’environnement selon un plan annuel.

 

Les informations de sécurité visant à rappeler l’importance de la prévention sont publiées via différents vecteurs :

  • annonces dans le Bulletin du CERN,
  • bulletins de sécurité découlant notamment des leçons à tirer d’accidents/incidents survenus au CERN,
  • alertes sécurité appelant à des actions immédiates communiquées par courriel aux services concernés,
  • campagnes de prévention sur le site du CERN,
  • campagnes d’affichage aux points d’affluence.

Soyez attentifs aux messages de prévention et surtout appliquez-les au quotidien. Par ailleurs, n’hésitez pas à nous transmettre toute information ou proposition sur un sujet de sécurité que vous souhaitez partager.
