Study of SMEFT BSM operators in the context of the CMS $H$ → $\gamma\gamma$ analysis using NLO simulation
Description
We consider the Higgs boson differential production cross-sections for gluon fusion as a function of several observables. Being a loop induced process, gluon fusion can be used to indirectly search for New Physics (NP) beyond the Standard Model (SM). In particular, we study the impact of introducing dimension-six operators on the differential production cross-sections. The study is performed in the framework of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) at Next to Leading Order (NLO) QCD, using MADGRAPH5 AMC@NLO framework.
