Description
This document describes the CERN Summer Student Programme's project carried out along with the qualication student Sanae Ezzarqtouni on Parasitic Collisions at the Non-Collision Background (NCB) group in the ATLAS Experiment at the LHC (CERN). The project consists on the study and analysis of parasitic collisions occurring outside the nominal interaction point, through the generation, simulation and reconstruction of such events, as well as understading and interpreting the obtained results and possible anomalies.
