Description
The following is a summary report of my work while participating in the Research Experience for Undergraduates at CERN, hosted by the University of Michigan. Under the mentorship of Antonello Pellecchia, I studied the performance of triple gaseous electron multiplier (GEM) detectors for the ME0 station of the CMS muon system as they were irradiated with a test beam at the Gamma Irradiation Facility (GIF++).
