Design of a Multi-mode-multi-crystal Dielectric Resonator and Measurements of Laser Treated Copper Plates

Description

The aim of this project was to calculate the surface resistance of different materials and coatings as well as to design a multi-crystal multi-mode dielectric resonator. CST was used to design the dielectric resonator that can be used with four different dielectrics and to measure at seven different resonance frequencies. Additionally, the surface resistance of different coatings was measured at room and cryogenic temperatures, using VNA and a dielectric resonator of Hakki-Coleman type.
