Ассоциированное рождение Z бозона с фотоном в протон-протонных столкновениях в эксперименте ATLAS
Description
This PhD thesis is dedicated to a study of gauge Standard Model (SM) electroweak boson interactions between each other. The work presents the cross-section measurements for the associated production of a Z boson and a photon, with the Z boson decaying to a pair of neutrinos ($Z \rightarrow \nu\bar{\nu}$). The study was performed with data collected by ATLAS in $pp$ collisions at centre-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}$=7 and 8 TeV in $2011-2012$. As a part of this work, the measurement of photon identification efficiency using photons from radiative Z decay is also presented. These cross-section measurements were used for the search of the anomalous triple gauge boson couplings (aTGCs) $ZZ\gamma$ and $Z\gamma\gamma$. These couplings are forbidden in the SM on tree level and can be induced by the models beyond SM. As a result of this work, deviations from SM predictions were not found. Consequently, the best limits on the considered couplings parameters were placed.
