Work at the Saint-Genis roundabout

Description
The Technical Department of the Conseil général de l'Ain has informed CERN of forthcoming work to make the Saint-Genis Pouilly roundabout (junction of the D35 and D984) safer for cyclists. The work will include, in particular, the installation of lane dividers between the cycle track and the road, improved road markings and the erection of additional road signs. The overall layout of the junction will not be affected.

La Direction des Affaires techniques du Conseil général de l'Ain a informé le CERN que des travaux seront entrepris prochainement au niveau du rond-point de Saint-Genis-Pouilly (croisement des routes départementales D35 et D984) afin d'améliorer la sécurité des cyclistes. Ces travaux concerneront notamment l'aménagement de séparateurs entre la piste cyclable et la chaussée, l'amélioration du marquage au sol et la mise en place de panneaux de signalisation supplémentaires, sans avoir d'incidence toutefois sur la conception du carrefour.
