Summer student project report: Search for the decay 𝐷∗𝑠(2317)± → 𝐷∗±𝑠 𝛾 at the LHCb experiment

The summer student project treated the search for the radiative decay 𝐷∗𝑠(2317)± → 𝐷∗±𝑠 𝛾 with the 2016 and 2017 data sets collected by the LHCb experiment corresponding to 3.3fb−1 at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV. For the search the ratio BR(𝐷∗𝑠(2317)± → 𝐷∗±𝑠 𝛾)/BR(𝐷∗𝑠(2317)± →𝐷±𝑠𝜋0) was investigated, but no hint for the existence of 𝐷∗𝑠(2317)± → 𝐷∗±𝑠 𝛾 was found.
