This thesis presents the design, FPGA implementation, and validation of the Regional Calorimeter Trigger (RCT) and Global Calorimeter Trigger (GCT Barrel) firmware for the CMS Phase-2 Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger system, targeting the Xilinx VU13P-2 platform.
