Establishing Communication Between MTD DAQ Software and Integrated xDAQ Services

Description
The MIP Timing Detector (MTD) is an upcoming enhancement to the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment, designed to improve event reconstruction and particle identification through precise timing resolution. Central to its operation is the Data Acquisition (DAQ) system, which ensures seamless data collection, processing, and integration with the broader CMS infrastructure. This report details the development, integration, and testing of the MTD DAQ system, highlighting the key components, such as the xDAQ framework, the MTD Controller, and the GUI. These elements enable effective communication and control within the system, particularly for the ASICs, such as the Low Power Giga-Bit Transceiver (LpGBT) and the Slow Control Adapter (SCA). My contributions to the project include developing Python scripts for the MTD Controller and facilitating the integration of these systems. As the project approaches completion, final testing on actual hardware remains crucial to ensure the system's readiness for full deployment, expected in 2029.
