Description
In 2016, POLAR - a polarimeter - was launched on the Tiangong-2 Chinese space lab. It was designed to measure the polarization of the prompt emission of Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs). The next-generation GRBs polarimeter, POLAR-2, is set to launch into space in 2026. However, before building the device, performing calibration on the final prototype and understanding the behavior of the data is essential. This report presents the final results of the setup that was built for the calibration of the POLAR-2 prototype.
