Description

Invenio is free software platform for digital libraries and document repositories on the web. Invenio was originally developed at CERN to power its scientific document server containing about 1 million of articles, books, photos, videos, and more.\n\nInvenio software is nowadays used by about thirty large institutions and library networks worldwide and is being co-developed by institutions such as Cornell University, EPFL, Harvard-Smithsonian Centre for Astrophysics, or SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.\n\nThe goal of this project is to enhance user experience with Invenio on modern mobile platforms. This includes studying suitability of various techniques such as developing native iOS or Android application versus using HTML5 web-based frameworks such as jQuery Mobile or Sencha Touch.
