Description

This Report presents the results of my Summer Student Project. The goal was to determine the spin of the Hypertriton by analyzing ALICE Run2 Pb-Pb at $\sqrt{^{s}NN}= 5.02TeV$ Data. Firstly some theoretical background information is established and the strategy explained. The taken steps are described and the obtained results are presented. The Hypertriton invariant mass signal was successfully extracted from the data and an analysis chain was developed. The observed effect is not statistically significant enough to determine the spin, but with Run3 data we will be able to find it.
