Description

This project focused on streamlining the complex cabling of the LHCb muon detector by developing a relational database that efficiently stores and organises the connections between its components. The project involved cleaning and restructuring data, creating and populating the database, and designing a graphical user interface for easy access to this information within the control room. The successful implementation of these tools has enhanced the operational efficiency of the muon detector and simplified troubleshooting, which is crucial for minimising downtime and preventing data loss during experiments.
