Description
Investigations on the charmonium backgrounds for the $\Lambda_b^0\to\Lambda l^+l^−$ decay were examined using the outputs from full Monte-Carlo simulations. The capabilities of the RapidSim soft- ware as an alternative light-weight indicator for avenues for further inspection of partially- reconstructed backgrounds were also studied.
