This thesis has gives a comprehensive introduction to the topic of phase-sensitive modified cyclotron frequency measurements in the BASE-CERN experiment, 
covering in a broadly chronological way the theoretical and experimental steps towards a successful implementation.
Similar in kind to Chapter 5 of [Georg Schneider. “300 ppt Measurement of the Proton g-Factor”. Dissertation. Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz, Germany, Dec. 2017] and Chapter 9 of [Matthias Borchert. “Challenging the Standard Model by high precision comparisons of the fundamental properties of antiprotons and protons”. Dissertation. Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, 2021], it reiterates the working principle of phase-sensitive modified cyclotron frequency measurements via axial mode excitations and the necessary experimental parameter optimizations before elaborating on evaluation methods of the acquired phase data and the acquisition test setup and implementation details of the 2024 phase method iteration.
