Description

In this project, the analysis of the $K^{+} \to \pi ^{+}\pi ^{0}a$ decay, where a is a pseudoscalar particle with mass $m_{a} \in$  (0,210) MeV going to invisible, is conducted. The analysis is based on data collected during the 2017B run of the NA62 experiment at CERN and builds upon previous preliminary investigations. Direct emission and interference backgrounds are included and evaluated as part of this study.
