Description

This work is about my final thesis for the master's diploma in electrical engineering for the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. It has been entirely done at CERN in the framework of my technical studentship which had a duration of twelve months, (1/9/2017 – 31/8/2018). It is about high voltage measurements and tests of coaxial cables and connectors used for kicker magnets and introducing ways for optimizing and producing new models of cables using new materials, in an effort to replace old cables.
